Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, TX is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide independent nursing care in the ED or related acute care setting, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

The role requires at least a BSN (preferred), RN license in Texas, BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications, and at least one year of experience.

You will participate in orientation and residency programs and work a 7 PM – 7 AM full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas or compact state.
• BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.
• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors effects.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care given.
• Educates patients, family members, and caregivers; identifies needs and resources.
