Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital in Florida is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver advanced care in the Emergency Department, collaborating with the medical staff and multidisciplinary team to provide timely, age-appropriate care. You will perform assessments, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, prepare equipment, and assist physicians.

At least one year of acute care experience and current Florida RN licensure are required; BLS/ACLS are required with PALS within 30 days and CPI

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the NCSBN.
• One year acute care experience required.
• Good organizational skills preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during treatments and exams.
• Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing LPNs and ED Techs.
