Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for emergency department care, delivering advanced nursing services to patients of all ages with acute needs. You will collaborate with medical staff, perform nursing processes, and support physicians during treatments and exams.

The role requires ED experience, Florida RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS; PALS and CPI within designated timeframes may be required. Strong organizational and computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the NCSBN.
• Good organizational skills and basic computer skills.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS/CPI certifications as required or within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care to ED patients across ages with acute needs.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with treatments and examinations.
• Supervise and instruct LPNs and ED Techs as needed.
