Job summary

Qualifications

• Current NJ RN license and active nursing accreditation.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN).
• Needed certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS within 6 months if not current.
• 1 year ER or acute care experience required; strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments on arrival to triage acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following safety protocols.
• Continuously monitor vitals and clinical status; promptly update team.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists on care plans.
• Provide emotional support and explain care to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with ED practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital infection control and policies.
