Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA seeks an RN to provide patient care in the Emergency/clinical setting. The position follows the Nursing Process from admission to discharge, with a 3:00pm-11:30pm schedule and 32 hours per week. It is a non-exempt role under the MNA-Milford Regional Medical Center union.

Active MA nursing licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP are required in select areas. A BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable within defined areas and timeframes.
• BSN degree is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care.
• Performs patient assessment and discharge planning.
• Develops and coordinates care plans and discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care in assigned setting.
• Delegates tasks to others per job description and competency.
