Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse for the 7p-7a night shift in Milford. The role requires MA nursing licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS in designated areas, with NRP for certain units. A BSN is preferred and nurses collaborate across disciplines to deliver direct patient care.

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, medication administration and education for patients and families. A signing bonus may be available; details confirmed during interview.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC required for every RN.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates the plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care.
• Delegates appropriately according to competency and job description.
• Documents patient care per standard procedure.
• Develops and implements education plans for patient/family.
• Ensures quality and continuity of care through collaboration with other providers.
