Job summary

Banner Health Payson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join our critical access team. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing.

The role is a 36-hour per week day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with every-other weekend on rotation. Banner Payson emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and professional growth within a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized nursing care.
• Implement care per physician orders and nursing plan.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Document care, patient response, and discharge planning.
• Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
