Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Join a Magnet-recognized, state-of-the-art 353-bed acute care facility with a focus on Stroke, Cardiac and Pediatric care. Night differential and weekend differential apply; sign-on bonus available for ED experience.

The ED team includes nurses, physicians, and specialists delivering high-quality, timely care in a high-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• ED experience is preferred; acute care hospital setting is common.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care in ED.
• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team for timely care.
• Document assessments, plans, and patient responses accurately.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Supervise and mentor staff as assigned.
