Edward Elmhurst Health in Arlington Heights, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with shifts from 9am to 9:00pm, and every 3rd weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives while staying current with nursing standards and Illinois licensure. Eligible candidates hold an Associate's degree or BSN, possess IL RN licensure, and hold AHA CPR

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
