Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati to deliver high-acuity nursing care. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, assess patient needs, develop care plans, and administer medications in a fast-paced ED environment, upholding safety and quality standards.

Requirements include an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Nursing, current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS and PALS (preferred), and at least 1 year of ED/CC

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Associates or Bachelors in Nursing.
Current RN licensure in the state.
BLS and ACLS/PALS preferred; must obtain within specified timeframe.
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; ED/CC preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ED.
Collaborate with the interprofessional care team.
Assess patient status and prioritize needs.
Develop and revise care plans to improve outcomes.
Administer medications safely per policy.
