Job summary

TriHealth's Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This PRN (7:00am–7:00pm) role offers 1–12 hr weekly shifts, on-site, in a high-acuity ED with a 6–12 week orientation.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver rapid, safe care to diverse emergencies. Ideal candidates have an ADN/ diploma, with BSN within 5 years, active RN license, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong foundation in biological, physical, behavioral, and social nursing sciences.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments; document per TriHealth standards.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care while maintaining dignity and autonomy.
• Recognize and respond to emergency and rapidly changing clinical situations.
• Communicate effectively with providers and the care team.
• Complete all assigned patient care and documentation within required timeframes.
• Serve as a resource by sharing clinical knowledge and assisting with staff development.
