Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years full-time RN ER or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the Emergency Room.
• Complete accurate, legible documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record patient signs, symptoms, and status; follow physician orders.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures; assemble equipment for procedures.
