Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking aRegistered Nurse for the 3a-11a day shift in our Emergency Department. The role requires Massachusetts nursing licensure and current BLS, ACLS as applicable, and a strong nursing knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS required; ACLS certification current or as required by unit.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing.
• Substitution of education and experience may be considered where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process from admission to discharge.
• Assess and reassess patients per standard procedures.
• Coordinate and plan patient care including discharge planning.
• Maintain documentation and ensure education for patient and family.
