UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This role uses the Nursing Process to manage patient care from admission to discharge, tailored to each patient’s developmental needs, with a focus on safe, effective care in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, coordinate with physicians and allied staff, administer medications, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• ACLS certification is current or required if applicable.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.]
• Experience with nursing procedures and patient care is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individualized care plans including discharge planning.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures as required.
• Participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
