Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, SC, seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator for the NEW Northeast Emergency Department night shift (7:00pm–7:00am). The role provides operational shift oversight, delegates care, and facilitates timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.

A BSN is required with SC RN licensure and at least 2 years in related areas. The position offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus and supports professional development within a Magnet-recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: BSN.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty areas within past 5 years.
• Substitutable Education & Experience: ADN or Diploma with RN-to-BS/MS in progress; degree to be completed within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational shift oversight and delegate care to staff.
• Facilitates timely patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Leads staff, supports and mentors team, and maintains a positive image of Lexington Medical Center.
• Ensures compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and unit policies.
• Performs process and performance improvement activities using evidence-based practices.
