Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS, NALS, and BCLS certifications required/obtainable within specified timelines.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• RN license for Florida required; APRN eligible considered.
• Ability to obtain required licenses/certifications in Florida within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in collaboration with leadership.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies like hourly rounding and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, training, and performance evaluations to improve staffing and processes.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Helps with inventory control and equipment/supply management.
