Job summary

HCA Florida Gainesville Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care and coordinate unit operations across shifts. The CNC will direct nursing staff, monitor care quality, and serve as a resource to strengthen patient outcomes and satisfaction.

In collaboration with the management team, you will optimize throughput during admissions and discharges, participate in staff development, and implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and service delivery.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (Diploma or Associate Degree)
• ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications required within 30 days
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with management to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when needed.
• Manages staff scheduling according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assists with inventory control and supply management.
