HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate nursing functions across the unit during shifts. You will guide staff, monitor care, and model the organization’s values to support exceptional patient outcomes.

The CNC collaborates with management to optimize throughput, staff engagement, and service delivery, while supporting interviewing, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including staff rounds and engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, training staff, and performance management.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
