HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Mt Dora, FL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care during the shift. You will coordinate admission, discharge, and unit operations to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and support staff with policies and procedures.

This role requires Florida RN licensure, 2+ years in acute care, and certifications including BCLS and ACLS. You will collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes, manage staffing and inventory, and advance

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• 2+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
• RN Diploma or Associate Degree; BSN preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start date

Responsabilités

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and actions to ensure organizational improvement.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment/supplies management
