Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing care on the unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services. You will collaborate with management to monitor care, mentor staff, and drive evidence-based improvements in outcomes.

The CNC role requires Florida RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/ENPC/PALS certifications or attainable within specified timeframes, and 1+ year of nursing experience in a related field. This is an on-site, full-time position in Ocala, FL.

Qualifications

Must hold Florida RN license; multistate license accepted; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
Florida RN license (compact) required; without Florida license eligibility may delay employment.
ACLS, BLS, ENPC, PALS and TNCC certifications required or attainable within stated timeframes.
No travel required; on-site role in Ocala, FL.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in appropriate setting.

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate nursing functions during designated shift.
Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per policies; serve as resource for staff.
Collaborate with management to foster teamwork and improve outcomes and service.
Support staff in interviewing, selection, and training; participate in performance evaluations and actions.
Assist with staff scheduling and labor management; ensure productivity aligns with patient care needs.
Assist with inventory control and equipment/supplies management.
