Job summary

Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department (ER) on the Night Shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and nurses, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced ER setting.

The role involves triage, medication administration, patient education, and life-saving interventions. RN licensure in Indiana, BCLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred, with eligibility for student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN license with state licensure required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred, BCLS required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and hospital policies
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and documents in the medical record
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Provides patient and family education on conditions and post-discharge care
