Northwest Health- La Porte Hospital has an opening for a Full Time Nights RN in the Emergency Department. The role includes 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week), shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits. Tuition assistance and student loan forgiveness programs are available.

As an Emergency Services RN, you will perform rapid assessment, triage, and emergency procedures while ensuring safe, compassionate care. Indiana licensure and BCLS are required, ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing in an acute care setting.
• RN license required in state or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
