Job summary

The Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw, IN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night shift (7p-7a) in the Emergency Department. You will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with the care team, administer medications, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience, current RN licensure, BCLS and ACLS/PALS preferred, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required (state licensure or compact licensure).
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
