Lutheran Kosisuko Hospital in Indiana is seeking a full-time Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room with a mid-shift schedule (3pm–11pm). The role involves coordinating patient-centered care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications include 0–2 years in clinical nursing or rotations, active RN licensure, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN license or state licensure required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers medications and monitors effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/ code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and safe environments.
