Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide holistic patient care across a busy hospital unit.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Provide emotional support and supervise care by the healthcare team.
Pursue ongoing professional development and participate in performance improvement.
Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
