North Okaloosa Medical Center is seeking an ER Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency department. The role requires 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations, with a strong emphasis on rapid assessment, triage, and collaboration with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings, reporting changes in condition to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
