Job summary

AHN Neighborhood Hospital is seeking a part-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shifts. The role requires assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in a high-acuity ER setting.

You will document thoroughly and follow physician orders while maintaining privacy and infection control. Qualified candidates have an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), current RN licensure in good standing, and 2+ years ER experience with BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions required.
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or similar setting required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate nursing care in the ER.
• Proficient documentation of medical records.
• Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms, and status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policies and regulations.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control practices.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
