Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care in the Emergency Department across the health system. The role supports safety, quality and teamwork during night shifts, with 24 scheduled hours per week.

As a High Reliability Organization, you will assess patients, document care plans, implement interventions, and participate in process improvements. A valid RN license in Ohio and BLS certification are required, with additional CPR training preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• RN license in Ohio (Ohio Board of Nursing).
• CPR certification required or CPR training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions based on diagnoses to achieve patient outcomes (30%).
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to nursing interventions and revises care plan within clinical team (20%).
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve quality, safety and efficiency (10%).
• Operations (10%).
