Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in diverse, acute care settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs as per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a 24/7/365 Emergency Department, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• RN license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and revise plan with the team.
• Leadership - participate in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations - support daily department operations.
