Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency to provide direct patient care on a fast-paced unit. Night shifts include 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 12-hour options, with potential float to partner facilities as needed.

Certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC within 6 months of hire, and NIHSS, with EPIC experience preferred. The role requires an RN license in the state, at least one year of acute care experience, and an Associate Degree in Nursing; a

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• TNCC required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required.
• Recent EPIC experience is required.
• One year of acute care experience is required.
• A.S. in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Evaluate patients’ conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care.
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Monitor and manage patient responses to treatments and procedures.
