Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services department. The role includes night shifts with 12-hour blocks, float opportunities to partner facilities, and active involvement in triage, medications, and critical interventions.

Candidates should have an ASN or higher, and an active RN license in California, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or willingness to obtain TNCC within 6 months. EPIC EMR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• One year of acute care experience is required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is required.
• TNCC is required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Recent experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency services department.
• Assess and triage patients based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and critical interventions in the EMR.
• Respond to emergency situations with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
