Qualifications

• 0-2 years of nursing experience in acute care required or student rotations in acute care.
• Valid RN license with state licensure and/ or compact licensure required.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care in the medical record promptly.
