Job summary

Emerus seeks an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night shift at a small-format hospital. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the ER, emphasizing safety and quality documentation.

Requirements include an Associate degree or Nursing Diploma, active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and English fluency; benefits include night/weekend differentials, 401K match, referrals, and free parking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions; English fluency required.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications; ENPC/PALS substitution possible; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care in the ER.
• Complete accurate, legible documentation in medical records.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; observe and report changes.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and ALARA standards.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers as needed.
