Job summary

OhioHealth's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a diverse, acute care setting. The role operates in a 24/7/365 department and requires adherence to nursing standards and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in the state of Ohio or compact license accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and provide ongoing health status assessments.
• Plan and document interventions based on nursing diagnoses and patient needs.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care; revise plan as needed within a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead process improvement activities to enhance clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Support department operations and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency as a High Reliability Organization.
