Job summary

Prime Healthcare at Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, TX, seeks a Paramedic (ECT/ED Tech) to support trauma care, CPR, and patient transport in emergencies. This full-time role runs on night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Responsibilities include IV starts, EKGs, vital signs, airway management, and collaboration with nurses and physicians under hospital protocols and supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires.
• Basic EMT Training or Emergency Room experience required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertion, EKG acquisition, and continuous vital signs monitoring under supervision.
• Assist with airway management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and resuscitation support.
• Provide wound care, apply splints, assist suturing, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Transport patients to diagnostics or inpatient units and assist with room turnover.
• Stock supplies and perform point-of-care testing as allowed by policy.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support trauma care and transitions of care.
