Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the In-House Registry Nights. This part-time role (1.2 hrs/week up to 0.03 FTE) offers hourly compensation ranging from $48 to $55 and requires IL RN licensure with BSN preferred.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acutely ill patients, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and participate in unit governance while meeting ANA standards and institutional policies.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Registered Nurse licensure in state of Illinois.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC & TNCC within specified timeframes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Travel within designated geographic area may be required.

Aufgaben

• Collect data, develop an individualized plan, coordinate care, and evaluate progress.
• Direct care and manage any nursing assistants involved.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and staff on care plans.
• Participate in shared governance, committees and unit projects.
• Document patient responses and adjust the plan of care accordingly.
• Use best available evidence to guide nursing practice.
