Job summary
ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in Highlands, NC. This 13-week contract position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work nights in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications per protocol, coordinating with the care team, and documenting in Cerner EMR. Required certifications include RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC/ENPC/NRP/CEN/CPEN/CTRN
Qualifications
- Current RN License in good standing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Preferred certifications include TNCC, ENPC, NRP, CEN, CPEN, CTRN
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal care
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR (Cerner)
- Adhere to ENA guidelines for patient ratios and best practices
