Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine's Emergency Department. The role covers bedside care, patient monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws in a high-volume ED setting.

You will collaborate with RNs and physicians, ensure infection control and ED protocols, document in EMR/EHR, and communicate changes quickly to the team. Shifts include Days and Nights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One year ED experience.

Responsabilités

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and acuity changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately.
