Job summary

Jobtome is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room - Lomas at UNMH. The role requires directing nursing care, assigning staff on day shifts, and ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient census with a focus on safe, quality care.

Responsibilities include leading clinical staff, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies while supporting education and professional development within the department.

Qualifications

• Program Graduate required.
• 2 years directly related nursing experience required.
• RN license in NM required; CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assign nursing personnel and staff to patients using independent judgment.
• Supervise staff and ensure adequate coverage on designated shift.
• Provide clinical leadership and role-model for department staff.
• Coordinate care plans with healthcare team and ensure documentation.
• Answer calls and triage per departmental policy; maintain patient safety.
