Job summary

Intermountain Health in Brighton, Colorado, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department. The role requires previous forensics nursing experience and completion of the forensic nursing course prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• BSN is preferred and, per update, required for this job description.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the team.
• Plan individualized care, involve patient and family, and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Implement care through the interdisciplinary team, manage priorities and resources.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise the plan; document accurately and timely.
