Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Brighton, CO. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and documenting care using professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate and delegate care to the inter-disciplinary team to meet care goals.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust the care plan accordingly.
• Promote professionalism and ensure lawful, ethical practice and accurate documentation.
