Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare’s Emergency Department is seeking a Forensics Nurse to provide critical clinical care and forensic examination services within our not-for-profit health system in Utah.

You will perform forensic examinations, collect evidence with integrity, document findings, and collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams. RN license in Utah required; SANE certification preferred; on-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• RN license is required and must be in Utah.
• SANE certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in emergency department and forensic settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to emergency patients with forensic needs.
• Perform forensic examinations and collect evidence maintaining integrity for legal proceedings.
• Document findings meticulously in patient records and forms.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams and healthcare providers.
