• Collects and analyzes data, plans, coordinates care delivery and evaluates outcomes.
• Directs nursing care and manages use of nursing aides when appropriate.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to create an outcome-focused plan.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit initiatives.
• Documents patient responses and adjusts plans based on evaluations.
• Uses evidence and research findings to guide practice.
