Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to deliver patient-centered care across units, applying evidence-based practices and engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, while collaborating with the care team to improve outcomes and ensure safety. Documentation in EHR is essential, with delegation to team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license in NC or multi-state license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Telehealth licensure in state(s) where patients are located.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, coordinates with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Promotes a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and appropriate delegation of tasks.
