Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or state privileges.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years in the service line preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care reflecting growth and development.
