Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Telehealth experience or comfort with virtual nursing modalities may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, and collaborate with the care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain high-quality care.
• Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take corrective action.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrate effective communication and foster team collaboration.
• Pursue professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Adhere to ANA ethics and provide unbiased patient care across disciplines.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and supportive personnel.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities as needed.
