Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an ED Float Pool Nurse to support the Emergency Department with direct patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will help shape patient outcomes through therapeutic communication and adherence to nursing best practices.

The role involves staffing different ED areas, delegating tasks, and serving as a clinical resource. Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 2 years in emergency nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care plans and implement physician orders.
• Administer medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor and document patient condition using clinical systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
