Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Room Resource Pool Nurse to provide direct patient care in collaboration with the care team. You will act as a clinical resource, guide staff, and support the chargenurse role to ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Qualified candidates hold RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state, current BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire, with at least two years of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in TN or compact state.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ER nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Record and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
