Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri is seeking an ER Discharge Coordinator PRN to support bedside scheduling as part of our centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs. The role focuses on enhancing the patient experience with timely follow-up and clear communication.

You will interact with patients and staff, schedule follow-up care at the bedside, ensure quality standards, and help promote our services while escalating issues to leadership when needed.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience is preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an ER Discharge Coordinator, you willbe responsible forPoint of Care (PoC) Patient Bedside scheduling as part of the company’s centralized ER and Urgent Care Follow-up programs. The truest intent of the ER discharge coordinator is a bedside-initiated patient experience, with theobjectivesof increased contact rate, scheduling immediacy, and improved overall patient experience. You willcreateandmaintaina positive customer experience in a patient-centered, quality-driven environment.

In this role you will:
