Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking an ED Manager to plan, supervise and evaluate care in a 24-hour Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care.

You may assist with direct patient care within the RN Practice Act, coordinate interdepartmental services, promote privacy and patient safety, and lead throughput improvements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current certs required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC completion within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's degree and RN qualification are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and evaluate ED care 24/7.
• Coordinate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services.
• Promote privacy and patient safety, including PHI protections.
• Meet performance goals and drive throughput improvements.
• Orient, train, and ensure ongoing staff competence.
